Metal detecting live video: live gold find with the ETrac: something eating the gold?

Double click on video to full screen and press Esc when you wish to go back to the normal size screen 3 1/2 hour hunt. Incredible day.The rain definitely helped me penetrate the ground better and the ETrac and 18 x 15 SEF coil (like 1 3/4 x standard coil) covered more ground and found silver and gold The soil is very clay so I guess when the coin falls, it eventually gets into a clod of clay and stays there until somebody finds it. Interestingly, when I first saw the gold coin, there was discolouration or what I thought was discolouration on the coin, In fact, it was something trying to eat the metal. But it hadn’t been able to and died on exposure to air I have been detecting for 2 1/2 years with my ETrac and SunRay probe. I am out normally about 20 hours a week andI have 4 gold and silver finds being analysed at the British Museum under the Treasure Act more info at www.metaldetectingagency.co.uk

How old is REALLY old stuff? ;o) A good island to invade :o) Is there any existence of metals made by man in America say 1,000 years ago?

  8. morgusmauldric says:

  17. Ringo853 says:

Agreed. The soil is very clay so I guess when the coin falls, it eventually gets into a clod of clay and stays there until somebody finds it. Do you have an idea?

  22. Ringo853 says:

Funny! I wouldn’t mind something where they pay for repairs. Dont know if they would offer that though?

  23. SuperBC10 says:

It’s up to you man but don’t forget it was your find and your lyrics. If you want to sell your artistic license to the Big Guns, then do what you feel is right. If they buy and sell you – then fook them. Lol.

  24. Ringo853 says:

    I

Seems like youve got used to your machine there! I use 2tf since I don’t want to miss deep targets. Sometimes, the slightest change in pitch is a deep target.Think I would miss this in multitone

In a John Wayne style :o)
