nice videos! keep it up and ignore the stupid comments! I’ve just began metal detecting, do you have any quick advice you could give me? hope to meet you someday, you are a legend! (your friends too as well :P)

  4. Neil Jackson says:

AN instructive video – and I’m 100% behind the Americans history comment; if they were digging in Native American areas they’d be scolded, so why shouldn’t they come back to the mother country to pursue the hobby?

  5. chicagoron61 says:

Still airing on National Geographic. In the US it is called Lucky Muckers, In the UK it is called Thames Treasure Hunters

  6. bobbobmove says:

  9. gsong123 says:

William, I could say the same thing about BP sucking up our oil resources and making a mess in the gulf, but I won’t! That would be rude and stuffy…like yourself!

  10. hagridshut says:

i can’t believe some people get wound up about Americans treasure hunting in England… if they bothered to pay attention they’d see that this guy does everything by the book and hands over any valuable finds to the treasury…. also, if if anyone engages their brain for a minute, they’d realize that we pretty much ARE much the american’s history

  11. TheMarnirain says:

did you have to get permission to metal detect this place??. what made you decide to choose this area??

  12. moleman1961 says:

I think that, as long as the finds are registered it doesn`t matter where they go as long as they are enjoyed and shown off to lots of people! They were buried under the earth where NOBODY could see and enjoy them! Good hunting, Guys

  13. holcroft1969 says:

    STFU you freakin Idiot…….

Yeah we all gonna listen to you aren’t we…Turd!

At least the Americans have some pride in their & our history……..we’ve sold out!….You dick, think before you talk asshole ::(

Well done Chicago……keep it up………..YOU ARE ALWAYS WELCOME IN MY COUNTRY :)

  14. davieboy2012 says:

Don’t sell your detector cause ya can’t get permission just go on there fields at night if they won’t let you fuck em it’s the only way now days history is being lost and damaged due to farmers machinery grab it before it gets destroyed

  15. MrNooneseesme says:

Fine until it comes to one little problem of tying ti find anyone anywhere under any conditions that will actually allow you to detect. i had to give up and sell mine because of that

  16. quarrystalker says:

ron when you planning on coming back to england

  17. Jose Swenson says:

The history lesson I got from justwilliam is that not all of the redcoats died off.

  18. chavey65 says:

  19. rabcmcdee1981 says:

great stuff mate dont even listen to justwilliam the guy is just an ass ive saw a documentary where you found a plantium ring with diamonds and returned it people like justwilliam just hate the fact that you got better finds than him keep up the good work and as you may already know most people in uk would welcome a detectorist such as yourself whos knows mabey i will see you out there one day HH

  20. fullwood13 says:

Great video! I hang out in South Bucks with my detector and enjoy the hell out of it. To be able to recover and handle something that hasn’t seen the light of day for 2,000 years is incredible. You really are touching history. And remember, each season a coin is in the field means another chance for the plough to destroy it. You are doing everything right Ron, keep it up.

  21. words75 says:
