My FaceBook Page www.facebook.com for all the things you DON’T see on my vids! This video teaches you how to metal detect on beaches in the water and on shore. Also entertaining, as we are chewed out by the ferry security and searched by homeland security! Of course there is also mcdonald’s in this video!

Well it was a trashy beach we were on. The only way to find anything good is to grid out a square and dig up every single piece of trash, then work it again and again. Unfortunately, there’s no metal detector that can see through trash. Thanks for watching. HH

Why the hell is homeland security in Galveston!? What is the government trying to protect or cover up? And you should have launched those fries at security boy before departing the ferry!

  6. UrbanTreasureHunter says:

You can’t feed the birds and your car has to be searched w/o probable cause. What a great country we live in. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of crappiness.

  12. UrbanTreasureHunter says:

    Amen! Thx for the comment!

  13. Fedproman says:

Sorry, there are no 4th or 5th Amendments. Actually the Constitution ceased to be anything other than a mere historically document quite some time ago. Have you ever heard of the National Defense Authorization Act? The US Military can now knock your door down and enter your house without any other reason than any pretense the authorities want to use whatsoever. No due process nothing. Actually the President ordered the murder of a US citizen overseas earlier this year with no due process.

  14. UrbanTreasureHunter says:

Excellent points! Thx so much for watching. HH

Yes, the “Patriot Act” is absurd. Just like not being able to detect in Harris County parks… You can carry a weapon into the parks, but can’t even possess a metal detector! It’s a sad world when your metal detector gets you in more trouble than a firearm! Keep up the good hunts!

  16. UrbanTreasureHunter says:

As an American who loves the U.S. Constitution, I am against the Patriot Act. I believe as Benjamin Franklin said, “He who gives up freedom for safety deserves neither.” You are right, it is law…but it’s unconstitutional law. Thx for the comment.

  17. outwardjourney says:

That is wrong on a few fronts. TSA can/has/does screen ferries, planes, buses, trains, etc. They work with ICE and Border Patrol and have the authority to search. The ferry in Galveston is screened by the U.S. Coast Guard / Homeland Security, and being a federal agency it fall under the “Patriot Act”. Under that act they can search regardless of probably cause/plain view. You can refuse to be searched, but you will not be able to board the vessel.

  18. UrbanTreasureHunter says:

Thx for the advice. Next time I sure will do that.

  19. lizard944 says:

Sorry, but the search was illegal regardless of what sign they had posted. The only searches allowed without probable cause is TSA at airports. All other searches without a warrant is in violation of the Fourth and Fifth Amendment. They can only search if you have an illegal item in plain view WITHOUT the need to uncover items or open compartments. Next time politely tell them, “no thanks.” All lawyers posting videos on youtube suggest this.

  20. Addictedtobleeps says:

Did you say ‘is this bloody England?’ ha ha! Well, we can feed the birds over here. I thought that guy was a bit harsh!

  21. Gatlun says:

Without a warrant, your not searching my vehicle without probable cause…I don’t care who you are…

  22. UrbanTreasureHunter says:

We were about to get on the ferry and there was a big sign saying if you are getting on the ferry, you agree to search without probable cause. If I was just on the highway and was stopped, I would have raised hell. I don’t know WHY James thanked him. I think he was just nervous and trying to be polite. Thx for the comment.

  23. DoSomeLaundry says:

You should have told them to kick rocks when they asked to search your car. Did they have any probable cause? If not, you can decline the search. Know your rights or you will loose them. After they raped you of your rights you then thanked them, thats rich.

So was that Dave Chappell working Bird Control
