actually, it’s “don’t trust anything political or financial from America”

Anyway, the essence of gold is that it can be tested for validity. Tungsten isn’t used to counterfeit coins because of its mechanical properties. It’s only really viable in gold bars. (Eg. the ones that London tried to cheat china with recently).

If you’re still suspicious, presence of tungsten is easily tested in a non-destructive way because it has half the heat diffusivity of gold. (it takes 2x the time to warm up

  5. ArgentPur1OZ says:

  6. Tonny tn says:

Are you sure your Chinese Panda coins are not Volfram mixed? Rule of thumb nowadays: Dont trust anything Chinese-made. Period.

  7. sgwarrenb says:

these are super expensive right now…

and i am scared of your racist

  9. urkingod says:

Just be careful with CHINESE Fakes. Youtube taught me A LOT about Chinese Fakes that are cheating us all. You can also look at Chinese Disneyland video on youtube, that is how low their level of quality is.

Where do you buy these? I would like to collect them but scared of buying counterfeit gold.

  11. geckster109 says:

If the 1998 has no marks or scratches, its worth about $325 not sealed. In its original mylar pouch, the coin is worth about $425. Nice score at just melt + $25!!!

  12. TheChiefSteel says:

I collect these. I have probably 16-17 of the 1/10 ounce coins. I recently went into a coin shop and they had the elusive 1998 and a 2000. What is the current worth of a 1998 it’s not sealed. I got it for spot plus 25. Thanks

  13. joyisaware says:

excellent video, exactly what i was looking for, they are beautiful.. thanks 4 sharing

  14. TheChiefSteel says:

I collect these as well. I don’t have them all. But I have many of these. Love them.
    Nice video
    No 1998 for me though.

  15. geckster109 says:

NGC does not encapsulate altered coins. You do not have a 1991 gold 1/20th oz panda IN a bezel IN an NGC MS69 slab.

  16. GeoFly says:

Hello, you seem to be an expert at these! I inherited a panda coin and I’m wondering how much its worth. I believe it is 1991 1/20 oz Gold Coin NGC MS-69. Whats unique about it is that it is in a gold bezel embellished with red and green gems. Some parts of the bezel have a silver color. Does this make the coin worth more or less?

  17. Sety777 says:

damn you have a lot gold

  18. DoItForGood says:

    nice. thx for sharing

  19. acidwarp514 says:

im saving up for the 2008 one ounce… very nice coin

  20. geckster109 says:

As with any coin, these can be bought from many places. Ebay is a decent place to buy these if you dont live near a coin shop. I buy from a variety of places.

  21. FlapJackToTheMax says:

Great video, may i ask where you guy these from, online or in person?

  22. GameGod1111 says:

you probably have more panda gold coins in your collection than there are real panda bears lol

  23. scwlim says:

bro, you need some manicure done. =)

  24. LittleJ1398 says:

Yes, I am very young an started collecting and I am hoping to become a coin collecter. Nice coins though.

  25. geckster109 says:

A PCGS will sell for around $2000. An NGC will sell for about $100 less. A raw (sealed in original plastic) 1995 sells for around $1450 currently. You have a nice coin! I had 5 of those at one point!
